As the url suggests, I blog about media, law, and Minnesota.

Ideally a post involves all three topics.  Sometimes, just two.  If I am bored or really fired up, just one.

Media to me is broadly defined.  It includes pretty much every mode of mass communication, from radio to instant messaging.  Occasionally, I give in to the irresistible urge to blog about First Amendment issues not directly related to the media, such as what happened when the Republican National Convention came to town.

I lean toward analysis, not opinion.  That being said, any opinions expressed do not represent those of my clients, my employer, or my employer’s clients.
